Hi! I’m Amara.

Born and raised here in Perth Hills, I feel incredibly lucky to call this place home. Growing up here has been the lump sum of what has shaped me as a person and made me appreciate nature and the outdoors. How stunning is Australia!?

I hold an extensive background of visual arts and photography and I've been playing with photos and light ever since I can remember. From dark rooms both in school and after school studies, to digital cameras and sorting through my nans collection of black and white shoebox memories - wondering how long the exposure was on that box brownie.

I have two beautiful girls that only heightened my love for photography when they came along. When I birthed my first baby, I knew I would become emotionally tied to all the small fleeting moments, but didn't quite know the extent of how much I deeply wanted to hold onto all of it as long as I could. Time passes, and each version of her quietly leaves the room with a new girl in place. I had always been a lover of photography, but this just cemented the fact that I had to preserve every detail I could - whenever I had the chance. I cherish memories and photographs with deep sentiment, and strive to capture your family just the way I would want mine captured.

I believe that memories are among life’s most valuable investments - hence being so drawn to capturing them.
